I am in the process of converting, and will be getting married next year. some one from my church told me that I can't have a non-catholic as my maid of honor. If this is true then I will be very upset I've known her for 19 years and its always been that we will be eachothers maid of honor. I haven't had a chance to ask our preist about this yet.

.As far as I know, you could marry her in Catholic church.
